Newly graduated Ferhat is pleased to have been given the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience at Koppel’s. Whether it concerns making journal entries or running checks on accounting records and tax returns, he finds all of it fascinating and enlightening.
“Although I started applying for jobs immediately on graduation last year, I soon found that my lack of experience kept getting in the way. I’m delighted at having been offered this opportunity at Koppel’s, not least because of the positive vibes I experienced as soon as I walked in the door.
“The atmosphere at the office is one of friendliness. There’s always someone to answer any questions I may come up with, and that helps me a lot. I have a lot of drive and am keen to learn and grow. I’ll be buckling down for the next couple of months in order to be able to assess at a later stage which advanced courses would best suit me and my career prospects.
“I’m currently still living at home, but hope before long to find a place of my own to move into. When I’m not working, I like to practice sports: I work out and regularly play indoor football with my friends. I’d also like to travel the world. A friend of mine is getting married in Afghanistan next summer and I’d love to attend his wedding, but if it turns out to be too unsafe to go, I’d like to visit some other far-off destination instead.”
