Filip Karic
Filip’s background and the experience he has gleaned over the years make him the perfect fit for the position of tax consultant at Koppel Services. His duties primarily revolve around the provision of advice in the areas of corporation and income tax, in addition to which he sees to tax returns being filed and objection and appeal proceedings being lodged and is involved in the optimisation of the various internal work processes.
“The job opening for a tax consultant instantly appealed to me because of my affinity with the kind of organisation that Koppel Services represents, with its focus on entrepreneurs who pursue an active involvement with digital innovation. My previous job at Adyen was all about Internet businesses and the tax issues they face. I was born in what used to be Yugoslavia and therefore consider the fact that some of the Koppel team are stationed in Serbia as something of an extra treat, as it enables me to converse with my co-workers in Belgrade in our mother tongue.
“I see Koppel Services as a tax consultancy whose sights are firmly trained on the future. Its use of advanced data systems and work processes set it apart from the competition. The organisation is steeped in down-to-earthness and in confidence in its own abilities, and quite rightly so. The flat hierarchy at Koppel ensures that all of us are essentially equal. It has been my experience that everyone’s opinion is sought right from the start and everyone is involved in decision-making process, which I definitely consider to be a plus. The prime location of the office and the stunning views it offers do not exactly hurt either.”
“I look forward to being able once more to indulge my passion for snowboarding. The peace and quiet and the views always do me a world of good.”
