Tax Office to check leased vehicles with database

The Dutch Tax Office (Belastingdienst) are to check how business vehicles (owned and leased) are processed in the wage records. They aim to improve the monitoring of the private use of business vehicles in this manner. Thus it is important to carefully indicate the proper codes in the wage records and to declare the private use of the vehicle in column ten of the pay slip. If there is a change in cars, it is also important that employees with a so-called “declaration of no private use vehicle” (verklaring geen privégebruik auto) submit the new car registration number as soon as possible.
